Information for Rural and Business Funds Recipients
This information is designed for our existing distribution recipients.
As of August 2020, we operate using a direct deposit method of distributing assistance payments. This change is a result of our Organisation no longer being able to source affordable pre-paid cards.
As at July 2017, Western Queensland Drough Appeal services the following 18 Local Government Areas:
- Barcaldine
- Barcoo
- Blackall Tambo
- Boulia
- Bulloo
- Burke
- Carpentaria
- Cloncurry
- Diamantina
- Flinders
- Longreach
- McKinlay
- Mount Isa
- Murweh
- Paroo
- Quilpie
- Richmond
- Winton
As rainfall in some LGA's has seen their drought status revoked, we have pledged to continue supporting those communities for a period of 12 months after the date of their drought revocation (pending availibilty of funds).
